PART ONE - MAY 2019
Just had a quick wander around the top end of Marlowes.There are still remains of the former Dacorum Borough Council offices standing. The Methodist Church site, together with the former Dacorum College buildings are a site being cleared for one and two-bedroom apartment blocks.
The former Hemel Hempstead Building Society building and Hartridges furniture shop are still there, though re-purposed.
Nice to see some things don't change. Peter Spivey is still there. 48 years ago I bought a pea-shooter there, but sadly I was told they don't sell them anymore!
